Can a Rear Rack fit on a full suspension mountain bike?

I have a mountain bike with a rear suspension system on it. The back fork is attached to a spring and a piston so that it can give a bit when I hit a bump. Will one of those rear pannier racks fit on it or would it lock itself onto both the wheel and the frame. If it locked to both the frame and the wheel I suspect the up and down movement of the rear wheel would break it.

What type of mountain bike do i have?

It is a black mountain bike that says Avigo Railer on the sides. It has 21 speeds, V brakes (the kind that press on the wheel), front, mid, and rear suspension, some fairly good gripping tires. Thats all i know…

Do I need to buy a new front wheel for my mountain bike?

I am trail riding on a 2007 K2 Mountain bike with Rox Shox in the front. Im pretty much abusing this thing on the trails, going over logs, roots etc. I have already had my wheel balanced once, and the guy asked me what I hit. He said next time it goes out of balance that I should probably rebuild the wheel with new spokes. Will stronger spokes make a difference or should I just buy a stronger wheel altogether?

how do you adjust your disc brakes on mountain bike?

i just recently bought this mountain bike and it is working good but the disc brakes need a bit of adjusting i think. this is the first time i got disc brake bikes and don’t know much about them. the problem is that the brake pads have contact with the disc or the rotor when i spin the wheel. it doesn’t spin freely and spin slow. also i checked that the disc is a bit to the left in the caliper. i tried to loosen but it didn’t even move. can you guys help me or possibly give me a guide?

thankyou.

Want 2 buy a 2001 Silverado 1500 ExCab LS but don't understand vehicle info, PLEASE HELP?

These are the things listed on a truck I’d like to buy for my husband but don’t know what any of it means. My husband is a mechanic in Iraq right now and I’d like to surprise him. He loves Silverados and likes BIG and FAST. Is this a fast truck, if not what can I do to make it faster? I hear of flowmasters, superchargers, chips and turbo kits things like that but being he’s a mechanic I’d love to really impress him with the most power possible within a realistic price range not to exceed ,000 (3,000 is for adding horsepower not money for the truck, truck money is seperate)
can u please help me and suggest things I may do to boost horsepower and torque. thanks
Here’s the info listed on the truck that I’m looking at
5.3L Vortec V8
Automatic
Fuel Injected
Electronic Ignition
K&N Short Air Intake
8-Lug
Disc Brakes Front & Rear
Four Wheel Drive
Rear Wheel Drive
Z71 Off Road Package

tempting to buy a supercharged 89 cougar xr7 but?

the motor need head gasket, AND already torn down. 134.134miles. seller lost interest. been for sale for months.
and i told him..he need to put the new gasket in and put the heads back on..without the pushrods in place, to the cylinders are protected from low fog/cloud of humidity…he asking 00.
the body, interior are great, tires are new, black paint got fades, still has it shine, probably offer 0
Question is.
i’ve work on 60′s v8 motors. never on these motors.supercharged and fuel injection..i assumed it would be that hard, BUT…i wondered..what i am diving into. blindly. only 26xx were made with automatic, 4 wheel disc, rear independent suspension, moonroof, dual power seats, locks, windows, so basically a great project, (SIMPLE)
so looking for experience with these motors, or book? website, ect. will wires be easy to KNOW where this or that goes?

Harlem Mountain Bike?

I recently purchased a Harlem USA mountain bike and wanted to know if it was a good purchase and if it is considered to be a good bike. It has dual suspensions and hydraulic brakes (only at the front wheel, rubber at the back).

My rear wheel on my mountain bike keeps getting out of place latterally when I climb?

I think I realized what the problem is… I have a specialized alum mountain bike. In the rear sometimes the tires rub against the rear of the frame because the wheels get out of place when I’m straining going uphill climbs. I think its because my wheel clamps.. the long rob and clamp that keeps my wheel in place is stripped? Meaning where the metal from the clamp meets the metal where the hub rests on the frame is grinded down giving no grip at all. The metal seems kind of worn down and getting thin on the frame itself there. What can I do so keep the wheel in place so it doesn’t move around in rough situations?
could the frame be worn out? As in where the skewer clamps down on the frame.. that part of the frame actually looks worn down too. Will getting new skewers simply fix the issue even if the frame part is worn?

Any advice for someone trying to learn how to mountain bike?

I recently bought a Diamondback Coil EX mountain bike. It is a mid level priced bike, around 0. I didn’t want to spend 00 or more because I haven’t ridden a mountain bike in 7-8 years and the bike I had before was a top of the line Wallmart bike…LOL…so this is officially my first real mountian bike. I bought it because there is a group of people at my church that go out riding every week and I want to join them. I was a BMXer from age 4 until I was in my 20′s so I feel that mentality is going to be my first big obsticle. I went riding yesterday and I had some difficulty on the hills. I would gear down to the lowest gear on the steep hills and would be doing real good about 20-30 feet and then my wheel would spin. Going down hills I am hard on my brakes. Any advice on how to get better as a new mountain biker?
Sorry I usually don’t make smart remarks but to the person that said I should get a good brand of bike…I posted in my question/comments that I bought a new Daimondback bicycle around th 0 price range. It’s not the best one made but it is better than anything you find at Wallmart, K-mart, or Sears. Trust me it is a GREAT BIKE.
