Crown Victoria/LTD good buy?

I am strongly considering buying a mid 80′s to early 90′s LTD Crown Victoria. Of course I plan on having the 302 5.0 litre. I just wanted to know if anybody out there has owned one in that year range, and if they did, then how was it? I have heard mixed things about them. My friends dad had an 87 Crown Vic, and he loved it. It recently died at 215,000 miles!!! He was the second owner, and NOT rough on the car. He took it everywhere, and loved it, it was his road trip car. However, I have heard from reviews on the net that the engines die early, and they are not very reliable. Tell me what you think, or expieriences you have had with them. I plan on building mine into a street rod. Blocks in the rear suspension, posse traction, stroke the engine, new camshaft, Cherry Bomb dual glasspacks, Mustang Cobra intake manifold, and lowered front springs. So yeah, talk to me, let me know some stuff, thanx!!

Squeaky bike..help:(?

I recently brought a new bike- a dual suspension silver fox orb with disk breaks and All is good and i love the bike except one problem..its just started squeaking and creaking like mad!!! i think its coming from the rear suspension but not sure and despite a lot of ppl having the same probs and asking here i’m not finding anything useful.(oil/don’t oil, one says one thing then another says different) I had it serviced the other day and the only probs then they sorted was rubbing breaks. The squeak problem started mildly on my first ride and now its getting worse.
When i stand on the bike and bounce- is when it makes the noises, and i’ve repeatedly oiled it with WD40, even bouncing/oiling at the same time makes no effect. my last bike was the same on and off but not this bad. pllleeeeaaase help someone
I understand that you have to pay more for better quality but for some like me and others money is an issue so i dont need telling to buy a more expensive bike otherwise i’d ask for suggestions on which bike to buy. i brought a cheap bike just to commute to and from work i’m not a keen cyclist nor have knowledge of repairs ect.. all i want to know is it fixable at all? thanks for saying DW40 is a big no no i’ll bear that in mind!!

Looking for performance upgrade for 5.3L Suburban (2004)?

I have a 2004 Chev Suburban with a 5.3 L engine, 4×4. I have a 9000 lb trailer I tow with it, (right near its max). Looking for ways to upgrade my vehicle so I don’t have to buy a new dually or F350.

Some ideas I have had are:
-Cold air intake
-Headers
-True dual exhaust
-Some sort of rear suspension upgrade (??)

Thanks!
…again, I know it would be easier to get a new vehicle but I am wondering what some other options would be.
