I know they probably aren’t the best quality just look at the price, but I do want to know which one is the best of the three.
I already know about the maintenance in a chain drive and I would actually prefer the chain even though it requires easy up keep.
I basically want to know overall opinion and…
comments on cooling system
disc and drum brakes (which is better?)
also the front suspension is a big question for me<<<
and is dual or mono shock better?

I have a 1977 GMC Midas 454 Class A Motorhome. It has dual axel in the rear, 6 brand new tires on it. The rear shocks and front suspension have been redone/replaced. It has a working A/C unit, fridge, stovetop, microwave, oven, sleeps 6. It has around 65,000 original miles. It has a full side vinyl awning. All holding tanks work, and it has a DC/12v converter. Everything works good. Brand new radiator (00 prototype radiator from a race car). Has a spare tire on the rear. The only negative thing about it, is it’s age, and the color of the carpet (70′s shag orange and black carpet)
What do you think this is worth, or what would you pay for it?
I’m pretty sure its 32 ft. and the original generator isnt included, but a portable generator instead.

Alright, so I destroyed my SRAM X.5 rear derailleur by falling on my drive train repeatedly when I first got my bike. It was a size up, so I wasn’t used to the the bike, but decided that it would be fin to try and rip up the trails anyway. For some reason I only seemed to fall on my drive train side >.< I bent up my derailleur hanger, and my rear derailleur is completely out of commission.
Anyway, the rest of my bike has SRAM components, including shifters, so to switch to Shimano would require a shifter upgrade also. I’m running a SRAM 11-34 9 speed cassette and a SRAM 9 speed powerlink chain. Shimano claims to run smoothest when using all Shimano components, is this true or not. I don’t mind upgrading shifters, but a new chain, cassette, rear derailleur, and new shifters will either cost way too much if I am to go for quality components, or I will significantly have to downgrade my parts spec. in order to afford new stuff.
I keep my chain oiled and everything, and have explored my options, replacing my components is the only way to go, sadly. I’m running a Trek 6 series (2009, but I don’t think they changed much, if anything, to 2010 though)
I might upgrade front suspension to a rockshox Tora XC solo-air. Any recommendations? Should I save for a dual-air shock? Or, should I stick with my Dart 3, which has served me quite well if I do say so myself.
I think the question was misunderstood by the previous answerers. I don’t want to replace the whole drivetrain, I was wondering if I switched over to Shimano parts if I would need to due to Shimano’s claims. SRAM cassettes and chains should work with Shimano derailleurs, but I was wondering if using SRAM parts w/ SRAM parts and Shimano parts w/ Shimano parts would make any significant difference in the way the bike preformed. If so, I would stick with SRAM components for sure. I really don’t want to mess with the whole drive train.

I am looking to buy a bicycle, i am a kid, 17 years old, who has gained a little bit of excess poundage. I just want a bike, that I can use comfortably to do low impact cardiovascular training, I would look to just go for 30 minute rides every day around my area. What do i need for this? Full suspension, front suspension, I have NO idea… and also, I am looking to get one, with at least dual disc brakes, for approximately £150. I am 5ft 11, so im assuming an adult bike, like 26" would suffice? Please provide LOTS of detail!! Thank you!

I’d love to get a new mountain bike without front suspension (rigid fork) but there seem to be none out there.

Hey,
Trying to find out more information about a bike. I’m totally new to this, so I apologize in advance. A friend is offering to give me a bike to get started, but I don’t know how it compares to the one I have. Here’s all I know about it:
The frame is silver, aluminum. On the top bar, the sticker’s peeling but it says something about aluminum. The bottom, angled bar says fs elite on it. It’s a 21-speed dual index. Shimano brakes. Yellow duo track 7007 front suspension fork. I also wrote down that it has the phrase "aac 900" written on it, but I forget where.
I could take that bike or keep one that I already have. It’s a giant rincon se aluxx6061. Bought back in like 2002 I think.
Do you know anything about the first one described? How does it compare to the second. Thoughts? ANY advice/opinions/etc. would be appreciated because I’m over my head here. Thanks so much!

I really like the gary fisher dual sport model bike called the Kaitai, i want a hybrid bike that is fast but also can withstand stuff like a mountain bike could, and also featuring front suspension, but i dont really want to spend the amount that the Kaitai is….
Does anyone know if there are any bikes like this that are at a cheaper price?
