What's a good store to buy a good bmx or mountain bike under $500?
I’m 15yrs old and I’m looking into buying an affordable but reliable bmx or mountain bike that won’t break on me every time I pop a jump off a sidewalk curb or dirt hill, but I have no idea what stores or online sites offer a good deal so I need some ideas.

Do you guys have any other suggestions on NEW bikes for 0 give or take?
Performance bikes has some really nice ones but way too far away and I refuse to buy it online. I want to test ride a bike first.
Please help. Much appreciated.
I should mention that I am only 16 years old.
You guys honestly think it’s not going to last riding around my neighborhood.
It’s just for a leasuire stroll or transportation.
Not going to be mountain biking at all.
it seems like a decent bike.
I even rode it around the store and I liked it. Everything seemed to work great from the breaks to peddles it seemed like it was put together well and looked of quality.
I keep searching and everything is 0 + and I don’t want to spend that much and if I decide to take biking more seriously I will get a job and invest into another bike.
It seems like a decent bike to me. I even know a few people who own schwinns from target and it’s lasted them more than a year.

I’m Trying to get a new bike. ?
I’m Heavily convinced i need an A_M. I’m Looking for dual suspension w/ shock lock. I do a little of Urban Assault, commuting, and trail riding. i ride whatever is open. I want a bike that’s made by a trusted company (no huffy’s and mongoose) I also want to try trials and dirt jumping. so i need a bike with beef on it’s bones, not too pricey and fairly nice suspension. i’m thinking my price range is about 0(used bike) to about 2,000(if i’m desperate)
I really like Giant or Gary fisher, but I’ll try anything new.
I ride a hardtail and think It’s time I get a bike to fit my riding more.
I’m also considering a hardtail with front suspension as well, becuz i probably can’t make enough for a full suspension. does the front suspension have lockout? I’m thinking GF 2007 Tassarjare Disc or giant Yukon or Rincon.
i like gary fisher and giant because they are the only bikes i had and they were pretty good. plus i ride a hardtail right now and kinda enjoy doging rocks on trails.
Can you give me some good mountain bike buying advice?
I am looking for a mountain bike that can take a beating on dirt/rock trails, have full suspension, and disc brakes if possible. The thing is every one I look at is thousands of dollars. No way I can afford to do that. Is there something cheaper that would be a nice starter bike for an adult male? Maybe in the 0 to the (gulp) ,000 range? Thanks. There’s just no way I will spend over 2 grand on a hobby that I may or may not fall in love with doing.
