Hello, I have a dual suspension Salcano Spider bicycle and I was wondering how to make it go faster without having to cycle faster.
I am looking to purchase a new mountain bike for general recreation, but will probably ride on or around trails in San Diego. Any advice or tips on certain brands or style?

Hi, I have a dual suspension Salcano Spider bicycle and I was wondering how to increase the suspension.
I use to ride a little bit but I am looking for a Mountain Bike that is not very expensive that people won’t laugh at, what would you say ? I am a begginner ?
I know that i can purchase one online, on Ebay. Tried it and failed. Not a great negotiater, thats why i am asking for your help to find a dual suspension xc mtb frame from a retailer who sells frame only and not the complete bike. Prefer a Specialized Stumpjumper, Jamis Dakar series, Trek. Anyone know of such a place. Tried JensonUSA, Pricepoint, Performance, BeyondBikes, and other major bike retailers. Any local shops that have web page to order from? Would realy appreciate it. I currently ride a GT I drive XCR400, outdated, but have new components. Just need a newer frame, you know? Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
I need to find out how long it would take me to go to a place with a mountain bike, and what is the average speed of a mountain bike that isn’t going it’s max speed, but going from one place to another without rushing, but not going so slow that that a person running cant catch up?
The Cruzbike is a comfortable, fast and efficient all purpose recumbent bicycle with several features that remove the pain of riding and protect your health and safety. And it’s a blast to ride! The Cruzbike truly will renew your love of bikes. The Cruzbike uses a unique front wheel drive triangle that efficiently transfers your power to the ground. The sculptured seat supports your lower back and prevents saddle problems. The seat and backrest give you a comfortable heads-up sitting position, which is also very aerodynamic. Climb hills with maximum power You can use your arms, shoulders and torso to get a full body workout if you want, unlike any other recumbent pedaling system. The extra power you can generate is great up hills, for quick starts or for fast sprints. The unique combination of full body cycling with efficient power transfer and good aerodynamics means you can go faster than with a standard comfort bike, or cover a given distance much more easily, or go the same speed and distance without the usual pain. Cycling is transport While mountain bikes and road bikes are designed for sport, the cruzbike is designed to meet our 21st Century needs for healthy lifestyles and sensible transport. Both the Sofrider and Freerider have dual suspension and dual 26″ wheels to smooth out the bumps and give secure, confident handling, aided by a center of gravity slightly lower than a standard bike. Keeping the rider in the line of sight of car drivers also aids safety.
I am thinking about buying a dual suspension mountain bike to start with mountain biking. Which full suspension bike is best for a starter, while at the same time is durable, has good components, and allows for a smooth ride for about/under 500 dollars. I know there aren’t any very good bikes at this price range but i just want to know which one i could use to start mountain biking.
Currently the two I am looking at are the GMC Topkick, and the Mongoose otero. these two seem pretty solid, but i dont know if there are any other ones out there that are better and/or cheaper.
I am new into XC mountain biking. Main goal is to enjoy the great outdoor. Currently, using a loaned full susp Haro Extreme 6 and didn’t like it. Would like to get my own bike for less than 1k. Hope to get recommendation of specific model(hard tail). Prefer good frame with lower end components so that I can upgrade as my skill progresses.
