I am looking for a mountain bike that can take a beating on dirt/rock trails, have full suspension, and disc brakes if possible. The thing is every one I look at is thousands of dollars. No way I can afford to do that. Is there something cheaper that would be a nice starter bike for an adult male? Maybe in the 0 to the (gulp) ,000 range? Thanks. There’s just no way I will spend over 2 grand on a hobby that I may or may not fall in love with doing.

Roughly the equivalent width of a regular motorcycle, the Tesseract is a hybrid vehicle powered by a liquid cooled V-twin 2 cylinder gasoline engine and an electric engine thus reducing emissions and protecting the environment. With a mantis like appearance, the dual scythe suspension allows stable turning while still allowing for motorcycle like banking. Built into the upper arms of the vehicle is a dual arm lock system which lets the Tesseract stand upright when parked without a kick-stand. Currently only a concept model, Yamaha plans to continue researching this design in the future.

Hi, I’m going to be getting a new bike and I need some help deciding which is the right one for me. First off, I’m 13 years old and 5′ 4" and I need something that can go fast, but also has a good dual suspension. A specific brand would help greatly. Thanks for your help!

My third e-bike has two 1500W currie motors mounted on a full-suspension downhill bike. It is powered by 96 A123 batteries at 53V 14Ah and it sports a NuVinci variation transmission rear hub. It’s real fun to ride as you’ll find out in this video.
