I need to replace my front tire and tube of my Mountain bike, unsure why the tube won't pump?

I tried pumping up my mountain bike tube though i think it has been over inflated and won’t pump up.
I have a Massano m3000 mountain bike. The tire is a 26inch size and the diameter is 57mm 26 * 2,125. What are my options on a budget for getting a new tire and tube. I’m thinking i need to replace the tire and tube for a comfortable ride. Any suggestions?

If you have a presta valve, they can be tricky to get started while inflating. Try one of the adapters that screw on to give you a ‘regular’ schrader valve fitting.

Get a nice fat tire for comfort. For pavement, its hard to beat the Schwalbe Big Apple – I have a set on two of my bikes. For off road, the options are nearly endless. Some like Continental King, others like WTB exiwolf, etc. Maxxis and Panaracer also make good tires. Comfort-wise, get the fattest tire your bike frame/fork can handle, and keep the pressure on the low side (30-40 psi). Don’t let the masses tell you that you need a skinny tire for low rolling resistance, etc….fat tires nowadays roll very fast and the comfort upgrade is well worth it.

    1) You don’t have an air gauge? You should always have a handheld gauge or one that’s built into the pump. #2) Is the tire worn out – or do you just want a more comfortable ride?

If all you want is a more comfy ride – see 3rd link below.
